In this inspiring feature by WOWT Omaha, Father Vincent Sunguti shares his journey from growing up in rural Kenya to serving as a priest under the Archdiocese of Omaha, and his mission to give back by building a school for children in his home community.
Together with former Nebraska State Treasurer Shane Osborn and Spike Sharp, a former Boys Town student, the team is working to build a school that will serve over 500 students. The project includes the construction of classrooms, a clean water well, a kitchen, and proper bathroom facilities, providing essential resources and hope for a better future through education.
This project is made possible through African Educational Support Inc., with all funds raised going directly toward the school’s development in Kenya.
