Описание: LED technology has opened up new possibilities for car lighting designers. It allows them to create a unique identity by working with more sophisticated shapes. When you see the origami-inspired headlights and the sleek, futuristic rear light-blade, you immediately identify them as features of a Polestar. An unmistakable design, especially at night.
Each headlight unit contains 84 pixel LEDs, which automatically adjust to light and weather conditions. Controlled by a front-mounted camera, they switch on and off independently to avoid dazzling other drivers and give you the best possible view of the road. This puts an end to the hassle of selecting low beam when you encounter oncoming traffic in badly-lit areas. High beam is on at all times and the system dims the lights for you.
Unfortunately, the technology is not allowed on U.S. roadways, but the hardware is already on the electric sedans and can be turned on via an over-the-air update if the law changes.
