Grandpa Pig's Little Train is a Metallbau Emmeln train ride located in the Peppa Pig World area of Paultons Park. It opened on the 6th April 2011.

The ride is suitable for everyone, including children who are less than 1 metre tall provided that children under 4 years old are accompanied by a responsible adult. Each carriage can carry a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children.

Note this video is intended for parents and carers to provide information on the ride so as they can asses the suitability of it for their family.

History of Peppa Pig World
Peppa Pig World first opened to the public in April 2011 but planning for the park started way back in 2009. The park was the world’s first Peppa Pig themed amusement park and was meticulously designed and planned making sure it would be a place that families could enjoy for years to come.

Peppa Pig World Expansion in 2018:
In 2018 Peppa Pig World underwent an expansion with the addition of two new rides and a second dining option, the Queen’s Kitchen. Visitors can now sail around Pirate Island in a gentle and colourful spinning boat ride, Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club and also board the Queen’s Flying Coach Ride, an elevated track ride that transports riders around the castle and provides stunning views of the park.

Every ride at Peppa Pig World was inspired by episodes of the animated series which was an important part of creating the magical and immersive experience for fans of the show. Visitors can expect to spot characters, props and landmarks that are recognisable and have been brought to life.

All of the rides and attractions were made with the entire family in mind and the park has many rides suitable for very young children.

Peppa Pig World is part of Paultons Park which is the UK’s number 1 family theme park located in Hampshire with over 70 rides and attractions set within 140 acres of parkland on the edge of the New Forest. Peppa Pig World is included in the entry fee and was recently visited by the UK's Prime Minister Boris Johnson who praised the park in a speech to the Confederation of Business Industry.
