Indira Gandhi’s failure to suppress the Naxalbari movement, and dismantling of the ‘One Nation One Election’, draw a parallel to Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal and the Bengal of the 70s, and the gruesome crimes committed by power-hungry politicians.
