But the biblical concept of Imago Dei goes much deeper than self-worth.
In Genesis 1, being made in God’s image means humanity was created to represent God’s authority, character, and kingdom on the earth.
God did not place statues in the world to represent Him.
He placed people.
Image-bearers.
