Instructions:

1. Remove the Side Panels of the Center Console
• Use a trim removal tool to carefully pry off the side panels of the center console.
• Work gently to avoid damaging the clips or scratching the trim.

2. Lift the Center Console
• Locate the base of the center console piece under the armrest.
• Insert the trim removal tool at this base and gently pry upwards to release the console.
• Once released, lift the center console piece to expose the gear lever assembly.

3. Remove the Gear Lever Boot
• Unlock the base of the gear lever and lift the boot to expose the base of the gear lever.

4. Detach the Gear Lever
• Gently twist and pull the gear lever upward to remove it. Most OEM gear levers are press-fit and should release with a bit of effort.

5. Install the New Gear Lever
• Since this is a retrofit and uses the same dimensions as the manual lever, you will first need to install the additional piece included with the new gear lever.
• Ensure to unlock the lever before placing it on the car.
• Push the lever through completely, then lock it at its base before aligning it properly.
• Align the new gear lever with the mounting base and press down firmly until it clicks into place and feels secure.

6. Reassemble the Console
• Lower the center console piece back into position, ensuring all clips snap securely.
• Reattach the side panels of the center console.

7. Test the Gear Lever
• Shift through all gears to ensure the new lever is securely installed and operates smoothly.
