‘BAFTA’

Описание: ‘BAFTA’ was what I wrote down in the Paperchase goals journal back in 2017

I didn’t define it any more than that

It might have meant winning a BAFTA, going to the awards, who knows

Today I sat by the river thinking about how 2017 Charlotte would have shrieked at this news

And 2023 Charlotte is over the moon about it too

But at the same time, I ended up thinking about how I’ve found things that are way more important and meaningful along the way

Because the truth is that I got into the industry to make films that meant something to people

If I could do that, then it was worth all the awards combined

Then I expanded my field of work into a coaching business to help overwhelmed writers and directors create more films and get paid for it

And helping filmmakers become their most confident, productive selves felt like hope and excitement and sunrises all rolled into one

So today we’re ticking ‘BAFTA’ off the list, and appreciating all the new goals that have been uncovered (and achieved) since I first started that journal
