The original clock on the Glow Discharge Indicators IN-14 (Nixie clock). Module input power: AC 220V. The clock displays:
1. Time in 2 formats (12 and 24-hours).
2. Air temperature in 2 formats (F ° and C °).
3. The date.
4. Day of the week.

The Nixie clock uses glow discharge indicators IN-14, manufactured in the USSR. All are new and have never been used. At present, gas-discharge indicators are not produced, but at one time they were produced in such quantities that they are still gathering dust in warehouses. Devices on gas discharge lamps are fascinating with their lights and are an excellent interior item in various rooms, specially decorated in retro or loft styles.
The IN-14 indicator lamps are practically neon bulbs with a group of cathodes in the form of numbers. The bulb is filled with low-pressure neon. Under the influence of a constant voltage, the cathode of the lamp emits orange-red light specific for neon filling. Depending on the applied voltage, one or another cathode shines alternately. Everything is like in an incandescent lamp, only light emits a gas discharge. The service life of such indicators is huge since there is no long and heavy load on one cathode. For a full glow, a voltage of at least 100 V.
Time is displayed on six indicator lamps in the HH: MM: SS format, in a 12 or 24-hour format. Between the pairs of lamps are dividing indicators of lamps. If the goth is on, the time format is a 24-hour, AM - the left indicator is on, RM - the right.
The date is displayed in the format DD-MM-YY for the 24-hour format or MM-DD-YY for the 12-hour format:
DD- day.
MM - month.
YY - the last two digits of the year.
It is also possible to display the date in the format DD-MM-WW (WW - day of the week).
There is also a function to automatically display the temperature and date every 5 minutes with a ticker effect and blue daylight. Changing the numbers on the indicators is possible with two effects to choose from:
1. Smooth shift.
2. Busting.
Also on the watch is the alarm function with auto-repeat every 3 minutes (Mode - on, Set - delay, Menu - off), daily hourly alarm.
