Kenneth Wong teaches beginning and intermediate Burmese at UC Berkeley. He is the author of Survival Burmese and Easy Burmese, both from Tuttle Publishing. His short stories, articles, and Burmese translations have appeared in Mekong Review, AGNI, San Francisco Chronicles, Irrawaddy,and Myanmar Times, among others.
Justin Watkins is Professor of Burmese and Linguistics at SOAS, University of London, where he teaches a range of courses in Burmese and Linguistics. His research interests include the phonetics and linguistics of Burmese and other South-East Asian languages, including minority languages of Myanmar. He published a Wa-Burmese-Chinese-English Dictionary in 2013 and is currently preparing a reference book on Burmese grammar for learners.
