One can never command or force any younger or older monk for any single task - be it as simple as asking for a pen. Requesting is the only system that has to be followed.

Respect is the main code of conduct in the entire samuday - JI, meaning an argumentless YES, is the first response of a disciple towards anything said by the Guru or anyone elder.

Every person in the samuday is given a chance to grow his or her inner qualities, irrespective of their seniority. Important or fame worthy tasks are not reserved only for senior monks and chores are not reserved for the junior monks.

A daily mistake meeting is an integral part of Bhagwan Mahavir’s samuday, where each person shares his own mistake and inspires others so that they may not repeat their mistake, thus uplifting the quality of the whole samuday.
