North Wales Slot Car Club (NWSCC): 4 Hour Digital Scalextric Slot Car Endurance Race With

Описание: We have worked with Scott from the North Wales Slot Car Club (NWSCC) on a few occasions, and on of those occasions we came up with the idea of organising an endurance race with in conjunction with the NWSCC.

We set up the date/time: Saturday 16th March 2019 at 11am, the venue: NWSCC in Denbigh and the event: a 4-hour Digital Scalextric Endurance Race.

NWSCC have a huge bespoke ‘analogue’ scalextric racetrack where they race, so we came up with the idea of putting our ‘digital’ track on top of their track, which we set up the night before.

On the morning of the event the teams had scrutineering, practice & qualifying between 9.30-10.30. Then at 11am the lights went green....

After an epic 4 hour endurance race these were the results:

1st: Team Gulf 1029 laps
2nd: TruSpeed 1012 laps
3rd: FIAAO 958 laps
4th: Team Think 929 laps
5th: NWSCC 924 laps
6th: JD Racing 796 laps

Also a huge thanks goes to TruSpeed Slot Car Controllers for supplying wireless digital controllers for the event.
