Frida was photographed with Ruzzo by happenstance; the balcony of her apartment in Switzerland could be seen from the editorial office of a magazine. A reporter was able to snap the photo from the office window. Frida later sued the publication for publishing the photo and won a small settlement, which she used to build a public park/playground. Frida and Ruzzo would "come out" as a couple a year or so later.
