💕🥣 Ingredients and Method:
Cake ingredients:
4 Eggs (medium size)
Butter - salted 110g (½ cup)
Oil - 60ml (¼ cup)
Sugar 180g (¾ cup, 2 tablespoons)
Plain Flour 200g (1 ⅓ cups)
Cocoa powder 15g (about 2 tablespoons)
Sour cream or Yogurt 120g (½ cup)
Red food colouring
Baking powder 1 ¼ teaspoons
Baking soda ¼ teaspoon
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Cream Cheese Frosting:
Cream Cheese 80g (⅓ cup)
Butter 30g (2 tablespoons)
Powdered Sugar 240g (2 cups)
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Measuring cup size 240ml
Baking pan 9x9 inch
Method:
Add all the dry cake ingredients into a bigger bowl.
Mix well.
Add the other cake ingredients into the same bowl
Whisk for 30 seconds.
Give it a mix.
Whisk again for about 20-30 seconds.
Give a final mix.
Pour into the lined baking pan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 175c (350f) for about 35-40 minutes.
Let it cool completely.
Make the frosting.
Add all the frosting ingredients into a bowl.
Whisk for about 2 minutes until creamy.
Spread over the warm cake.
Decorate as you wish.
