Fear Effect Walkthrough Part 2: Pursuit (Machine Gunner & Helicopters Boss Fights)

Описание: Hana reaches the neon sign where she corners and kills Lam's head of security in an brief shootout. However, as she opens the password-locked container hiding Jin's flash drive, she is ambushed by more professionally armed security detail. Meanwhile, Glas, who is still waiting for Hana to return, prepares to head off to look for her, only to find himself pursued over the rooftop by the helicopter dispatched by Lam's security. While escaping it, Glas trips and falls deeper into the rooftop access area, with the sound of his fall giving Hana, who is still being restrained by Lam's guards, to break free, take the flash drive and escape. However, her attempt to escape is short-lived as she is soon intercepted by Lam himself and recaptured as the Triad boss is aware of her plans for his daughter. As he ascends back to the rooftop's upper levels, Glas overhears Hana being interrogated by Lam and his men as it turns out that Jin's flash drive has been encrypted, making it impossible to access information stored on it since Hana didn't get to learn the encryption code before Jin died. Unconcerned with the flash drive's contents, Lam throws it back to Hana before ordering his men to execute her. However, just before they can, Glas bursts into the room from above and guns all Triads goons down while Lam himself escapes. In the chaos, Hana regroups with her partner as they are attacked by another helicopter which they hijack by killing its crew, allowing Hana to take controls and collect Glas as he runs along the rooftop. With the information on Wee Ming in their possession and them clear of Lam's building despite having effectively drew his ire, Hana and Glas leave to meet up with their third partner, Jacob "Deke" DeCourt who has rented an room at one of the local hotels. After collecting him in a car, they explain what happened during an abortive meeting with Jin and that with Hong Kong's most powerful Triad now after them, they won't try to track Wee Ming down just for money but also as an bargaining chip to ensure their own survival and safe exit from the country. Due to that, group decrypts Jin's file using an decryption spike which Deke received shortly before being collected by his partners with the file implying that Wee Ming's disappearance was related to Fongen, an secret societies where members of Chinese elite gather as they are trying to track her down and that soon after she vanished, Lam discovered that his daughter had maintained an correspondence with a woman known as Madam Chen, meaning that Wee Ming is likely attempting to reach her with situation becoming even more bizzare as it is revealed that Hana herself had past dealings with Madam Chen and two parted on hostile terms, meaning that she knows the location of her restaurant within an city called Shan Xi. With the group deciding to capture Wee Ming, they agree to find Madam Chen, aware that they'll need her to find the girl. However, just then, another car rams them off the road, causing Hana to lose control over the car and crash into the sea, although all three mercenaries escaped unharmed.

Having secured an boat which they plan to use to reach Shan Xi, Hana, Glas and Deke set off towards it via river, only to stumble across an burning fishing village with Glas and Deke noticing Wee Ming on its dock. Intent on capturing her, they pilot the boat towards the village with Hana, who was showering, disembarking in nothing but a towel. With all three separating to find Wee Ming, they quickly discover that the village is overrun by green-skinned, zombie-like creatures while Deke is attacked by a man who was burning an paper effigy of an human being. Meanwhile, Hana finds another survivor, elderly woman who explains that the monsters appeared in the village a day prior, when Wee Ming arrived after rescuing a local boy who nearly suffered a fatal accident while fishing, with the monsters apparently having been drawn to the village once boy's blood stained Wee Ming as she carried him back to the village. She also explains that an contingent of People's Liberation Army is in the area, having arrived via train to buy rice rations from the village, but that the soldiers onboard are refusing to take in any survivors out of fear and kill anyone attempting to approach the nearby train depot. Heading towards village's train depot, Hana regroups with Deke who agrees to head into the depot and secure the train on his own, interested in acquiring firearms likely kept onboard...

NOTE: Emulator toolbar being visible in the video is result of me not playing in fullscreen. Reason for that is the fact that i need to manually change game discs during gameplay at certain points since this game is split onto four discs, which is impossible to do in the fullscreen mode which means that until the end of the walkthrough, i'll likely play the game like this as disc changes will be very frequent.
