I have this funny reed instrument. I don't know what it's called or how to play it. I don't even know where's it's from. The instrument is no older than 20 years.
I don't know what style of reeds are inside. It sounds like a double reed but I think it is not a double reed since there is very little back pressure.
It might be similar to a sompoton but it seems to be played played differently. I also wonder if it's a precursor of some other instrument.
Anyway, if you know anything about it, please post.

It's something like a Thai naw or chiness hulusheng
Mine doesn't play unless you cover holes on the side and bottom at the same time which makes it nearly impossible to play.
