In this video, we share a real day of traditional rural life in Nepal. Fresh local bananas are cut from the garden, and papa shows how bananas are prepared and stored for winter by burying them in mud, a traditional method used for generations.
Mama grinds corn on a stone mill, turning it into flour, and carefully prepares corn rice using traditional techniques. Together, mama and papa cook a delicious corn rice and buffalo curry, slowly prepared in the village kitchen using wood fire.
This video shows the hard work, patience, and knowledge behind rural food preparation—simple living, seasonal storage, and traditional cooking methods that still survive in Nepali villages today.
