Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are now charging MORE to people with better credit and more money down. This is not a TYPO. You read this correct. You will now pay more for having good credit and more for having a larger down payment. Here's an example. Putting 5% down gets you a cheaper loan than if you put 20% down.
