Instructions:

Prepare the Base: Cut out five pieces of cardboard and glue them together to create a sturdy, thick base for your calendar. You can wrap the cardboard base in a neutral fabric or paper for a clean look.

Cut the Calendar Pieces: Carefully cut out the numbered grid sections and month names from the old calendar pages. You can choose the most visually striking sections for your project.

Assemble the Perpetual System:
Create several smaller pieces or cubes for the dates and months. For a block calendar, use two cubes for the dates (one with numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the second with 0, 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 - the 6 can be flipped to function as a 9).
For a dial-based perpetual calendar, you can find free printable templates online to cut out month, day, and date dials, then assemble them using brads.

Decorate: Decorate the base and other components as desired. You can paint the cardboard, add stickers, or use decoupage techniques with other parts of the calendar art.
