The ocean that was encroaching on Gensokyo was a result of some people living on the sea floor trying to take back Kusanagi. All's well that ends well. With that, the long winter was at last over. Perhaps because the incident's cold air vanished, the warmth of spring came earlier that year. The season of flower-viewings and drinking that everyone had awaited was finally there.

But wait just a second.
How did Himemiko and friends find out that the sword was in Gensokyo, separated from the outside world, despite being trapped at the bottom of the ocean? How they had possessed something identical to the Otherworld key that Yukari made was also unknown.
After peacefully questioning Himemiko, or in Miko's case, listening to the voices of her desires, our heroes realized that there was still a mastermind behind the Tougenkyuu case.
