Welcome to the Pokémon Ultra Bug series, the mono bug playthrough of Pokémon Ultra Moon in which I buffed 6 bug type pokémon I like to make my team, while also making the game harder in exchange! I don't know if this will actually be hard or incredibly easy, but it's gonna be fun either way, that's for sure!

Changes to the game (besides the buffs lmao):
-All pokémon are randomized and are all in their final stage evolution. All enemy pokémon will also have a random item equipped.
-All major trainers have a full team of 6 pokémon. Every enemy pokémon will have at least one strong stab move, including in the early game.
-Pokémon give 0 EVs when defeated, meaning my pokémon team will be stuck with 0 EVs the WHOLE playthrough. My team also has 0 IVs in every stat and a neutral nature.
-All pokémon give basically 1 exp. This is to avoid overleveling, since I'll be facing a lot more pokémon than usual and they're all fully evolved. I'll be using rare candies to level up instead.

Rules:
-This is NOT a nuzlocke. I'm allowed to lose as many times as I want to and my pokémon don't die. There will still be level caps, however, for each Totem pokémon, Kahuna battle, and the Pokémon League.
-Set mode only.
-I can't use items in battle besides the mega stone. This also includes healing items. I can use them outside battles though. But I can't use the uhhh how was it called? The Roto-Boost things? Yeah I can't use those either. That's too broken. I think. ...Okay actually I have no freaking idea I never bothered using them lol.
-I can't use items to give EVs and IVs to my pokémon. They'll be stuck with 0 EVs and IVs forever.
-I'll avoid using TMs unless I get stuck, which ovbviously ain't gonna happen... right?
-EXP share will always be turned off, though I don't think that's gonna matter that much here LMAO.
-I can't use the friendship mechanic cause it's just stupid lol.

I'm gonna introduce the pokémon again here, since some of my chat messages were deleted last stream for some reason, and also not everyone reads chat (not everyone reads the descriptions either, but whatever lmao)

TEAM MEMBERS

-Shuckle: This is probably the most balanced one. Yeah, I know, surprising, considering this is my favorite pokémon of all time lmao. I gave it a custom move, Vampiric Sting, which is basically Leech Life but it drains all of the damage dealt instead of 50% like usual. It's not gonna be great at first, but it may be much better once it gets access to Power Split. Or not idk LMAO. It'll still be able to help with Sticky Web anyways though so I'm certainly not worried about its performance lol.

-Wurmple: Lowkey the BEST worm pokémon ever. Caterpie? Pffft, Wurmple soloes any day bro LOL. Anyway, I smoked with this one LOL. I gave it Ultra Horn, a custom move with 195 BP and 100% accuracy, with no drawback by the way LMAO (195 is a reference to its BST btw lol). Oh, and I also gave it Pure Power because funny. In exchange for this absurd buff, however, I made it unable to evolve. Isn't that a better thing though? You get to see Wurmple absolutely destroying some titans LMAO

-Venomoth: best moth ever. Like look at it. Who doesn't love a face like that LMAO. Ha ha Quiver Dance + Simple go brrrr

-Yanmega: I absolutely LOVE Yanmega. And for this one I smoked quite a lot as well LOL. I turned its best thing into it's worst one. I swapped its ability Speed Boost with Slow Start. BUT, in exchange, I gave it +30 in ALL of its stats, so it now has *695 BST*. You may think "Well, Regigigas has almost the same BST as that and it's terrible". BUT, unlike Regigigas, Yanmega is a special attacker, not a physical one, so Slow Start won't be as hurtful on Yanmega as it is on Regigigas (assuming the ability only debuffs the physical attack, which I think it's the case lol)

-Golisopod: I hated so much that they gave this bug type with actual good stats and quite the badass design one of the worst abilities of all time, Emergency Exit (actually, it'd be fantastic on a faster pokémon, but Golisopod is not fast at ALL lol). So I gave it Intimidate + U-turn! Oh, and I also gave its signature move First Impression a 100% chance to flinch, so it's now Fake Out but better! So yeah, Bug type Incineroar LMAO. THIS is how Golisopod should've been since the very beginning (okay not really lol). It's definitely one of the best members in the team. I NEED this guy LOL.

-Scizor: the mega of the team! I just gave it Illusion. Yeah, nothing else, it's just otherwise a completely vanilla Scizor. BUT there's a specific reason why I gave it this ability, he he...
