This riverside campsite is a real hidden gem. It's in an area West of Chirk, South of Llangollen, in North East Wales and the Ceiriog valley is not a heavily visited area so, it maintains its peaceful charm and is brimming with beautiful nature.
We camped in our VW T5 California camper van for 1 night, took a walk along the river, seen the local Pandy volcanic rocks, walked in to Glyn Ceiriog village and had a camp fire with beers next to the river Ceiriog.
To finish our trip, we visited the architectural wonder, Chirk Viaduct and aqueduct.
The perfect trip to get back out in the van after a 2 month break (other than Busfest) and we can't wait to get out again!
