Even in our worst moments of indulging in sin, God is a perfect Father who is patient and merciful
Our indulgence in sin will ultimately prove to be futile, leaving us in want
God is merciful to allow us to feel the futility of our separation from Him
It is the kindness of God that leads us to repentance
When we are repentant to humbly return to our heavenly Father, we find God to be merciful and forgiving; even celebrating our return!
Like the prodigal son's brother, when we are ignorant of the mercy and grace given to us, we are quick to be offended by God's forgiveness in the lives of others who offend us
God will always respond with mercy to the repentant soul.
