Garou Densetsu Special playthrough (Mega CD)

Описание: Playthrough with Ryo Sakazaki on the hardest difficulty setting. The Mega CD version of Garou Densetsu Special was released in 1995. This version has a lot of problems, one of the main ones being the slow-down -this port likes to slow down a lot, usually when characters are just doing special moves. The backgrounds are also very bad, with a very limited amount of animation going on in them -if anything does move in the background, chances are it only has two frames of animation. Ryo's background is very different compared to the Neo Geo version. Also, the credits sequence has been changed and is now accessed at the main menu.

Character animation has been cut. One weird thing is that when the characters are shown at the character selection and versus screens, they are better animated than they are during an actual fight, at least for their standing stances. EG, Ryo's goes from 3 to just 2 animation frames.

One plus point with this version is that Ryo is unlocked from the start, and you can actually use him in the single player mode! He has no ending and the AI doesn't really know how to block his moves, but that just makes this bad port a little more playable if you are playing alone. The music used in this version is the same music used in the Neo Geo version.

This game was released in Japan, America and, contrary to popular belief, Europe. The European version is extremely rare.
