🔹 How does Section 13(2), 13(4), and 14 impact borrowers and lenders?
🔹 What happens when a borrower defaults?
🔹 How can secured creditors take possession of assets?

Let’s simplify these legal provisions and understand how they work in real life!

📌 Key Highlights of This Video:
1️⃣ Section 13(2) – Demand Notice to Borrower
📌 If a borrower defaults on repayment, the bank or financial institution sends a demand notice.
📌 The borrower is given 60 days to clear dues.
📌 If the borrower fails to repay, the lender can take action under Section 13(4).

2️⃣ Section 13(4) – Asset Possession and Sale
📌 If the borrower doesn’t repay within 60 days, the lender can:
✅ Take possession of the secured asset.
✅ Sell, lease, or assign the asset to recover dues.
✅ Appoint a manager to oversee the asset.
📌 This process happens without court intervention!

3️⃣ Section 14 – Magistrate’s Role in Recovery
📌 If the borrower refuses to hand over the asset, the lender can approach the District Magistrate (DM) or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM).
📌 The magistrate has the power to:
✅ Issue orders to vacate the property.
