We recommend Itsa Goal folding goals should always be moved with the backbars attached, this is the safest way to move goals and causes least stress on goal post corner welds. In certain circumstances you may need to steer a goal through a small opening such as a gate onto your pitch. The goals can be moved for this situation but as soon as the goal has passed through the small opening, the goals must then have the ground backbars attached for goal strength and safety and to alleviate any stresses on goal corner welds. No children should be present when goalposts are being moved. Goalposts must be anchored at all times for safety.
