The three criminal bills — The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and The Bharatiya Sakshya Bill, 2023. Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita replaced the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in 1860. Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita replaces the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) 1973.
