Cave Springs Resort, Dunsmuir

Описание: We found a cabin with a great view close to many of NorCal’s iconic waterfalls!

🏡 It’s called @cavespringsdunsmuir, and here’s what we love about it.

1️⃣ We stayed in the lookout cabin, and its name is well-earned!

On a clear day, you’ll get beautiful views of Mt Shasta from the living room window.

2️⃣ You can see seven iconic waterfalls pretty easily when staying here.

Burney Falls
Upper McCloud Falls
Middle McCloud Falls
Lower McCloud Falls
Faery Falls
Hedge Creek Falls
Mossbrae Falls

‼️ Please note that you must walk through a privately owned railroad track to access Mossbrae Falls.

It’s not technically allowed, so venture there at your own risk!

The cabin is also close to Mt. Shasta, which is excellent since the constant view of it will make you want to explore it.

3️⃣ The lookout cabin has one full-sized room, kitchen, and loft with two twin beds.

I’d say 2-3 adults would fit comfortably. A small family (2 adults and 1-2 small kids) would also be comfortable.

However, four full-grown adults will be a tight squeeze. Doable! But tight.

4️⃣ The hot tub and grill outside! It was too cold for us to use the grill. However, it was great relaxing in the hot tub after a long day ☺️

5️⃣ It’s right on the Sacramento River. So it was nice hearing the relaxing sounds of the river below us.
