After my trip to Barbe lake for brook trout i made my way in search for some wicked lake trout ice fishing action on clearwater lake just past the pas! its an amazingly clear lake and its absolutely loaded with tons of nice quality lake trout! ice fishing for these fish are always quite fun as they love to play a cat and mouse game of chase it really keeps the thrill alive on the ice you just never know whats in store when you visit clearwater lake in northern Manitoba ice fishing lake trout. the using anglers edge mapping i found a nice spot on a flat just at the end of a drop and using the underwater camera i found a small section of sand by some rocks that i decided was a great place to post up! it was an all around fun time ! i was only able to get a few short sessions on the lake as sadly mother nature had other plans for me! Manitoba ice fishing is a fantastic time of year so many opportunities and clearwater lake trout fishing should 100% be one of them!
