THE NORTH | ADVENTURE RIDE IN NORTHERN KENYA | 300cc Two-Strokes
A mate and I decided to ride 1000kms through Northern Kenya on our 300cc two-strokes, passing through some of the most beautiful parts of the country.
After weeks of searching for and finding the perfect routes on Google Earth we took off for five days of off-road cross-country riding through some of the most amazing scenery on single trail tracks created by livestock.
Our Bikes:
Ben - 2016 Husqvarna TE300
Gavin - 2014 Husaberg TE 300
As our bikes are two-strokes and quite heavy on the fuel consumption we spent a lot of time looking for, topping up and mixing oil for our very thirsty fuel tanks - most of the way buying fuel in 1-litre bottles from the tiniest of dukas (shops) we found along the way.
I plan on more exciting adventures in the future across East Africa and beyond, most likely on bigger bikes, but still using mostly single trails and as much offroad as possible.
