Описание: Fifty years of Board offshore cranes (BOS). This anniversary video looks back at a story that began in 1975, when the first BOS crane was delivered for a floating production unit. What started as a bold engineering step has grown into a trusted crane family used around the world.

The video takes you through early design work and historic images from the 1970s and 1980s. It then moves across the decades and shows how BOS cranes changed in size, capacity and capability. The development of control systems, new safety features and modern electric drive options all form part of this journey.

The BOS range covers a broad spectrum of offshore work. It spans models from the compact BOS 2600 to the heavy-lift BOS 35000 and the BOS 45000, which offers lifting capacities of up to 1,400 tonnes. These cranes support offshore wind, oil and gas, heavy-duty lifts, decommissioning and crane replacements. Their lattice boom design, A-frame structure and long outreaches make them suitable for complex offshore environments.

More than 500 BOS cranes have been delivered worldwide. Their strength, reliability and adaptability have shaped offshore work for decades. The move towards advanced control systems and electric drive options shows how the range continues to evolve for future needs.
