Thank you for all the encouragement and kind words on my first video! I felt a lot more confident experimenting with this one knowing that there are people out there ok with my doodlin' style. :')

STORYLINE:

Venti is singing in the Angel's Share Tavern. Aether and Paimon enter to listen. Venti sings about the following tale:

Venti meets Zhongli (and canonically immediately 1. horrifies him with his irresponsibility AND 2. gets him drunk). He meets Guizhong and they become friends.

Some time later, Guizhong is attacked one night when she is alone. She disappears. Zhongli finds the evidence of her attack the next day and gathers the Adepti to search for her, raining havoc down on all the monsters in the area.

He finds Guizhong, but she's been corrupted (by the same mysterious forces that corrupted whatever Xiao has had to kill, presumably)

He has a flashback to when he and Guizhong found a corrupted boar. She has him promise (via contract) that if either of them ever got corrupted, the other person would kill them out of mercy.

Zhongli kills Guizhong, who thanks him for freeing her.

In the present day, Venti finishes his song and Aether and Paimon are shook

Aether, having also lost a loved one, seeks Zhongli out and they talk and feel better, bc I refuse to create sad endings !!!
