Monrøse is 21-year-old Monica Cuenca, a queer multi-instrumentalist (drums, guitar) whose upbringing steeped in fine art and filmmaking actively challenges the boundaries of rock and shoegaze. Based in Bay Area, Monrøse crafts their own highly confessional and romantic breed of alt-rock from their bedroom.
