If you struggle with impurity, Saint Joseph (known as the Terror of Demons) is a powerful ally. If you find yourself in the midst of this struggle, just take a moment to remember a few things:

1. ALL your past can be a part of God's plan and He can turn this part of your story to good.
2. Pray for the virtue of hope. Your salvation is NOT a roll of the dice. If you have faith in Christ's victory, and always go to confession no matter what, His Sacred Heart will triumph in the end.
3. Pray, pray, and pray.
4. Discover the underlying cause--what trauma or hurt are you band-aiding with this vice? Find this with a spiritual director and also a therapist.
5. God loves you no matter what, and the angels in Heaven are waiting for you to go to confession and leave behind your old self, so they can rejoice with you and all of Heaven! (Luke 15:10)
