The Tioga Central Railroad welcomes you aboard a Special Rare Mileage Excursion. We begin this presentation with a scenic ride in the cab of Tioga Centrals ex D&H RS3U number 506. As we start our trip a brief rain shower has just occurred, the sun is now shining brightly and soon the effects of the rain shower will clear up. The spring time colors and the sights of this area are breathtaking. In the cab of the locomotive we enjoy the scenery starting near the North End of the Line near Corning, New York. After our trip south in the locomotive we board one of the Historic Passenger Cars and take in the awesome views from the open vestibule Dutch doors as we return back north towards Corning. Later in the day after arriving at Wellsboro we join Volunteer Bill Loizeaux as he describes the Classic Passenger Cars and equipment of the Tioga Central Railroad!
