Vizag city and district nestled in Eastern Ghats have many natural wonders and waterfalls are one such. Sariya Waterfalls about 60 km from NAD Junction is a breathtaking waterfall. It is definitely not safe to venture for swimming into the plunge pools of the waterfall. Very sadly many youth are not heeding to the caution and loosing their precious lives. The drive to the fall is also mesmerising with scenic beauty. One has to walk atleast half a km after parking their vehicles to reach the lower part of the waterfall.
The waterfall can be divided into three parts. There will be steps and some walk way to reach the middle part of the waterfall from the lower part. The last or the top part can be reached by climbing or trekking a huge rock named as Bahubali. Once climbing the rock, one will definitely be carried away by the beauty.
Providing rest rooms or bathrooms would have been nice. Very sadly the place is filled with plastic waste. Some thought should be made on this to protect this beautiful natural eco-system
