TenPoint Crossbow Decocking Arrow Lessons Learned

Описание: I love my TenPoint crossbow. It shoots incredibly accurate, is lightening fast, and has incredible range. When I bought my crossbow, I bought the TenPoint de-cocking crossbolt and have been using it for several years now. But this week, my dad who has the same setup, learned a tough lesson when he shot his bow after an evening hunt and the next time out noticed all his strings were completely shredded! A quick trip to our local bow shop in Jefferson MD and they quickly identified the issue as the decocking bolts hit the ground with such force they often become damaged without you noticing. They told us to not use them and shoot it into a target as they have seen many crossbows that end up in this exact situation. I thought I'd share what we learned in hopes to spare you the same problem. I checked my decocking bolt and it was damaged so I'm really glad I checked. I'll also be checking my bolts and the uni-nocks on a regular basis as replacing cables and strings is not a cheap endeavor. Hope this helps prevent someone else from having the same issue.
