In this video, we take you along on our first-time journey to Bintan. We start our day by crossing the immigration and officially entering Indonesia. The ease of transportation on the island is impressive, with convenient buses and boogies available to take us to our hotel. Speaking of the hotel, we are pleasantly surprised by the comfort and beauty of our room, complete with a cozy bed and a lovely outdoor bathroom.
Our day is filled with exciting activities at Treasure Bay, a fantastic attraction resort. We indulge in water sports such as water parks, kayaking, and ATV rides, providing us with 90 minutes of pure fun and adventure. The water park is a blast, even for adults, and we can’t help but feel exhilarated as we navigate through the thrilling slides and splash into the refreshing pools. After working up an appetite, we grab a quick snack before continuing our exploration. We embarked on a mangrove kayaking adventure. While it can be a bit intimidating with the presence of mosquitoes, the experience is well worth it. Paddling through the mangroves is a unique and tranquil experience, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. We also try our hand at ATV riding, an absolute blast that leaves us covered in mud but with unforgettable memories. Back at the hotel, we enjoy a stunning sunset while sipping on a special drink made with turmeric, tamarind, and ginger. The next day brings rain, but it doesn’t dampen our spirits as we pack up and prepare for a relaxing massage. We indulge in a delicious breakfast buffet before heading to the spa, where we are pampered and rejuvenated. As our time in Bintan comes to an end, we reflect on the incredible experiences we had during our short but memorable stay. From the exhilarating water park to the serene mangrove kayaking, Bintan offers something for everyone. While some aspects may be pricey, the overall experience is well worth the investment.
