Join me on a walk over Barnacle Fields, in the Warwickshire Village of Bulkington. A well known local walk, across the fields to Barnacle.

Barnacle Fields - Sticklebacks and Steppingstones
It's a long way over, when you're young and not so tall
Once older with strides so long, it doesn't take time at all
Overgrown now but the memory's still clear
I smell the summer, when I think of those years
Foot on each stone to watch the sticklebacks swim by
I'm hiding under that bridge only a few feet high
Only go now when the needs do need
But that brook still flows over Barnacle Fields
