I unbox a completely fun and non-serious quartz watch that connects my watch hobby with my love for perhaps my favorite of Japanese anime franchises, Macross (a.k.a. Robotech) in this Infantry Robotech Macross 40th Anniversary Watch Ver. 1 - VF-1S "Low Visibility".
For under $40, what the hell? I went into this being basically a blind box purchase. Meaning I had no idea exactly which color and dial variant I would be getting. I was just hoping for one of the VF-1S variants, the grey or as I call it "Low Visibility" version being my top pick of the 4 different VF-1S's. Then maybe the VF-1A or VF-1D. Then the VF-1J Maximilian Jenius (a.k.a. Max Sterling) version. Then the VF-1J Hikaru Ichijo (a.k.a. Rock Hunter) version. Then lastly the VF-1J Milia (a.k.a. Miriya) version.
I guess I got really lucky and the grey VF-1S! Perfect!
