Speaker Biography:
Brittany Balhouse is a research and development (R&D) scientist on the Cell Biology team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and has been with the company for 4 years. As part of the Cell Biology R&D team, Brittany works to develop the next-generation of Gibco media and reagents, to support the culture of new cell models and improve the cell culture experience for Gibco customers. Brittany has been culturing cells for 10 years and specializes in 3D and cancer cell culture.
Christopher Scanlon is currently the Global Marketing Development Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, and his focus is on the Gibco Sera/FBS and Invitrogen Lipofectamine reagent portfolio. Also, he has been the head of the International Serum Industry Association (ISIA) marketing committee since 2015. Over the past 14 years, he has been focusing in the life sciences industry. He has developed and lead some key marketing programs and new product introductions for well recognized brands like Gibco and Invitrogen
