PM Modi held a high-level delegation talk with Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim. India and Malaysia unveiled a broad roadmap to strengthen their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership after high-level talks in Kuala Lumpur. The discussions placed strong emphasis on cooperation in semiconductors, digital payments, defence collaboration and smoother trade facilitation. In a joint statement, both sides signalled a shared resolve to boost bilateral relations. This marks PM Modi’s third visit to Malaysia since assuming office in 2014 and his first official visit after India and Malaysia upgraded their ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in August 2024.
