These Are My Top 10 Continental Layouts | Outstanding Model Railways

Описание: Welcome back to Rob’s Rails and the next episode in my Top 10 of 2025 series — this time focusing on Continental model railway layouts.

During 2025 I filmed a wide variety of layouts inspired by railways across continental Europe and beyond, and they offered a real contrast to UK-based modelling. From Alpine mountain scenes and dramatic scenery to busy urban stations and rural branch lines, continental layouts bring their own distinctive architecture, operation, and atmosphere.

In this video, I count down my personal Top 10 Continental layouts of 2025, selected from the many layouts I filmed at exhibitions throughout the year. These choices are entirely subjective, based on atmosphere, modelling quality, creativity, and the layouts that really stood out while filming.
