Artist Biography: The Empty Page (Kel - vox/bass, Giz - guitars and Jim drums/vox) are a new band from Manchester. The birthplace of Anthony Burgess, Emmeline Pankhurst and The Smiths. They formed in 2015 out of a shared tendency towards fuzzy, 90s alt rock, existential despair and bad puns. They have been very flatteringly compared to Sonic Youth, Throwing Muses, Queens of the Stone Age and Smashing Pumpkins so they reckon they must be doing something right.

Born at the start of 2015, we just recorded our first few tracks in a freezing cold warehouse studio in Manchester in a matter of hours. We think it turned out pretty good. Here is a link to listen: http://theemptypage.bandcamp.com
