Nasra Ahmed, 23, is a U.S. citizen, born and raised in St. Paul. Last week, she was unjustly arrested by ICE and detained for two days. She says she also sustained a head injury during the incident.
After her release, there are no pending charges against her.
Nasra’s arrest is the latest in a growing number of reported immigration detentions involving non-citizens and U.S. citizens.
Nasra is speaking out alongside her father and lawmakers Rep. Samakab Hussein and Rep. María Isa Pérez-Vega.
