The Flicker Shad FFSH7 features the profile of a classic shad bait
in a durable plastic body with internal rattles. It combines a distinctive rolling action with enhanced sound to alert fish at a distance, yet avoid spooking tentative or finicky fish once they move in close enough to examine the bait. The best of both worlds--attraction without overkill.

PRIMARY SPECIES
The size 7 is a dual-purpose casting/trolling lure that works well in many applications.

In the northern states, anglers primarily consider it to be a walleye trolling lure, although it is equally effective in casting situations. The bait's enhanced rolling action creates an alternating, dark-back-to-light-belly flash pattern that visually helps attract fish from a distance in open water. It excels when walleyes prefer shad profiles with more action than traditional balsa shad baits, which tend to have subtle, more gentle actions and higher buoyancy. The lure can be flatline/longline trolled at modest speeds (also ideal for trout), or fished deeper on leadcore line for basin applications,

The Flicker Shad FFSH7 doubles as a bass lure, ideal whenever bass prefer a shad profile with moderate action. Being plastic with internal rattles, and featuring an internal weight transfer system that shifts the rattles toward the tail during the cast, it casts farther and easier than balsa equivalents. While more durable when contacting rocks on the retrieve, it is not expressly designed to smash and bash rocks and wood, but rather to run free or make occasional contact with bottom or cover.
