Peek-a-boo 🐍 This slithering snake was discovered during a perimeter walk last month. Snakes don't normally crawl backwards, however specialized muscles allow them to grip the inside of the wall void and reverse direction in a retreat.
We want you to know that snakes will enter foundation cracks or weep vents to gain access to basements, crawl spaces, and wall voids. They use these harborage areas periodically throughout the year, however during the fall they often enter with the intent of spending the winter inside.
