Описание: One for finding the sum of Torques, one for finding torque with mechanical equilibrium. As noted in many of the comments below, most textbooks and tests (ie. AP) consider counter-clockwise to be positive and clockwise to be negative. As I have mentioned in several comments below, it depends on the convention you are using, and if you allow yourself the flexibility of looking at things from the other side. Check your book/notes/resources, as this may be the case for you!
