Baxter playing a bit on the new Martin HD28V that just came into the shop. This guitar has an incredibly detailed and multi layered sound for such a loud instrument. The bass on this guitar is fantastic! The HD28V has the forward shifted hand scalloped bracing that allows for an incredible level of bass to be created within the instrument. The bass translates across the entire spectrum of frequencies giving this guitar perhaps the most powerful tone of all Martins.
The Spruce top mixed with the Rosewood back and sides is a wonderful pairing that looks gorgeous with the herringbone trim and snowflake inlays. The small V neck carve fits the hand and is perfect for really digging in and getting that classic Martin sound.
