Описание: I owe Tupac Shakur an apology—but I’m NOT taking back my opinion that 2PAC showed follower behavior during his time around Death Row.

With the Keefe D trial putting Tupac’s final days back under the microscope, the testimony and conversations surrounding Mob James, alleged snitching, cooperation with law enforcement, gang politics, Suge Knight, Death Row Records, and the people surrounding Tupac have made me look at certain parts of this story differently.

My apology isn’t about pretending my original opinion suddenly disappeared. It’s about adding context and acknowledging where the story may be more complicated than I originally presented it.

We’re talking about Tupac’s loyalty, the influence of the people around him, Mob James, the snitching allegations and discussions surrounding this case, and whether Pac allowed himself to get pulled too deeply into a lifestyle and conflict that ultimately wasn’t his.

You can respect Tupac as one of the greatest artists in hip-hop history while still questioning some of his decisions.

Was Tupac a follower? Was he simply too loyal? And what do the Mob James testimony and discussions about snitching reveal about the people surrounding Death Row and this case?
