Sometimes we are not very hungry but you feel like eating something, for that time we can make this Makka poha and puffed rice Chivda. This crispy and chatpata Chivda can be packed in an air tight container and stays good for a month. Do try this recipe and share your feedback in the comment box. Please like and subscribe.

Ingredients :-
150 gm Puffed rice
150 gm Makka poha/Corn or maize flakes
Oil to Fry
1 cup Peanut
1 cup Roasted Chana dal
½ cup Curry leaves
½ tsp Turmeric powder
2 tsp Red chilly powder
1 tsp Kashmiri chilly powder
1 tsp Cumin seeds/Jeera
Salt to taste
1 tsp Chaat masala (optional)

Method :-
1) Fry the Makka poha/Corn or maize flakes
2) After frying, turn off the heat and let the oil cool down a bit
3) Put ¾ cup oil in a pan and remove the remaining oil.
4) Fry peanuts over medium heat
5) Once the peanuts are lightly fried, add the roasted chana dal and fry
6) Once the peanuts and roasted chana dal are fried, add curry leaves and fry
7) Once he curry leaves are fried use a low flame and add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, Kashmiri chilly powder, cumin seeds and salt to taste, mix and cook for 25 to 30 seconds
8) After mixing the spices, turn off the heat and add the puffed rice and mix
9) Now put the mixture in the fried poha and mix
10) Makka poha and puffed rice chivda are ready
11) It tastes good even when eaten like this and if you want to make it a little chatpata, add chaat masala and mix
